ELECTRICAL MACHINES AND MEASUREMENTS LAB
Starting with an intensive introduction to the rudimentary aspects of electrical measurements, the students are set in perspective with wide array of heavy electrical machines. Installed facilities include DC motors, Generators, three phases slip ring and squirrel cage induction motors, servomotors, transformers, pole changing motors etc.ADVANCED ELECTRICAL LAB
Deals within an in-depth analysis of control systems and analog computers using sophisticated equipments like PID controllers, Magnetic amplifiers, LVDT's , synchro transmission receiver and the like.POWER ELECTRONICS LAB
With an overview of the basic principles of electronics and circuits designing techniques, the emphasis is laid on various facets of power electronics using SCR's , UJT's, DIACS,TRIACS etc.MICROPROCESSOR LAB
With 8085 and 8086 microprocessor kits, Pentium-based personal computers, interfacing devices like DAC,ADC, audio tape interface, stepper motor interfaces, the student are acquainted with the concept of assembly language programming and interfacing principles.SOFTWARE LAB
Concentrate on computers aided design of heavy machinery like three phases alternators, DC generators and microprocessor based control of stepper motor, synchronous motor etc.COMPUTER LAB
The departmental computer lab is equipped with new generation PCs and accessories like printers, scanners..etc .This computer lab helps students co-ordinating their studies with the latest trends in software field and developing skills which are nowadays essential for the industry.

Electronics and Communication Engineering Association
The student activities within the department are organised and coordinated by the electronics and communication engineering association, which sets the stage for presenting the technical skills of its members and provides an interface to go beyond the curriculum and expand their knowledge base. The association is entrusted with the responsibility of introducing the latest trends in the fields of electronics and information technology by periodically conducting aptitude tests, workshops, exhibitions, seminars and lectures to keep the students in pace with dynamically evolving industry. All students of this department are members of the Electronics and Communication Engineering Association.Confluence
An inter college national level technical festival is organised by the association every two years in which various events like paper presentation contest, project presentation contest, circuit design contest, technical quiz etc. are conducted. - Faculty
