Electronic Circuits Laboratory
This is the basic and the core laboratory, which introduces a student to the world of electronic circuits and equipment. This laboratory emphasizes on instilling the students, the skills of designing, developing, and testing wide range of electronic circuits using test and measuring instruments like cathode ray oscilloscopes, function generators, digital multimeters, LCR meters, etc. Electronic circuits of systems such as rectifiers, filters, amplifiers, oscillators, are analysed in this laboratory.

Communication Engineering Laboratory
This laboratory introduces students to the field of communication engineering with sophisticated instruments like AF/RF generators, higher bandwidth oscilloscopes, frequency counters etc. The communication engineering laboratory deals with experiments in analogue and digital communication. The students are introduced to different types of modulation techniques like AM and FM. A series of practical experiments are carried out in this laboratory, which include TDM, ASK, PSK, PAM, PPM, and PLL.

Digital Electronics Laboratory
In Digital Electronic Laboratory, the students are led to the interesting world of digital IC circuits. It facilitates an in depth analysis of sequential and combinational type of digital electronic circuits. These include circuits with flip flops, counters, shift registers, sequence generators, code converters, etc.

Microprocessor Laboratory
This laboratory introduces the students to microprocessors, microcontrollers and assembly language programming. Various experiment with 8086 microprocessor and 8051 microcontroller, interfacing them with stepper motor, ADC, DAC, etc. are carried out in this laboratory. It also has the facility to train the students with macro assembler (MASM/TASM).

Microwave Laboratory
The microwave laboratory gives the students an exposure to the microwave equipment and components. Experiments such as VSWR measurement and determination of Klystron characteristics gives the students a hands-on experience on microwave systems.

Software Laboratory
Software Laboratory aims at developing the programming skills of students with emphasis on technical computing and simulation softwares like MATLAB, VHDL, PSPICE, etc. This laboratory is equipped with PCs and accessories like printers, scanners, LCD projectors etc. It also offers internet facility to the students and staff of the department for acquainting them with latest technological trends and developments.

Department Library
A library is functioning in the department with latest text and reference books on various streams of Electronics and Communication Engineering. These books are issued to the students and staff of the department.

Electronics and Communication Engineering Association
The student activities within the department are organised and coordinated by the electronics and communication engineering association, which sets the stage for presenting the technical skills of its members and provides an interface to go beyond the curriculum and expand their knowledge base. The association is entrusted with the responsibility of introducing the latest trends in the fields of electronics and information technology by periodically conducting aptitude tests, workshops, exhibitions, seminars and lectures to keep the students in pace with dynamically evolving industry. All students of this department are members of the Electronics and Communication Engineering Association.

Confluence
An inter college national level technical festival is organised by the association every two years in which various events like paper presentation contest, project presentation contest, circuit design contest, technical quiz etc. are conducted.
