The college has four hostel blocks - two each for boys and girls, each with an intake of about 150 inmates. The Ladies' Hostel is opposite to the college campus and the Men's Hostel is at a walkable distance. The college bus is also available for hostel inmates.
The hostel has a reputation of providing one of the best mess in Kerala, with minimum expenses. The hostel provides a homely atmosphere ideal for studies and recreation.
Both the hostels also provide sports facilities and health care viz basketball courts, exercise equipment, volleyball courts etc. Facilities for entertainment are also provided with a stocked literature and technical library.
Admission to the hostels is confined to the students of Government College of Engineering, Kannur. Students are admitted to the hostel according to the rules framed by the college council. The mess committee is selected from the inmates from time to time and is in full charge of running the mess.
