The Training and Placement Cell functioning in the College is entrusted with the responsibility of :
- Guiding students for placement in credible organization.
- Conducting seminars, group discussions,and mock interviews as a part of career guidance and personality development.
- Coordinating the efforts of the students of the various departments in arranging industrial training for them.
- Acting as an information center for students in job opportunities and competititve examinations like GATE, GRE, CAT and the like.
The Training and Placement Cell of the college is headed by a Placement Coordinator, who is a senior faculty member of the college. The Cell has student representatives from all classes, from among whom a Student Coordinator is elected. The Student Coordinator interacts with the Placement Coordinator for the daily functioning of the Cell.
The Cell has modern infrastructure facilities for receiving various companies in the campus and also for imparting training to the students. It has an air conditioned seminar hall which can house about 140 persons. It also has air conditioned interview rooms to add to the other facilities available in the college such as conference room and a seminar hall with a capacity of 300. The College is in the process of constructing an auditorium which can house 1000 persons when completed.
Many companies have visited the campus during the academic year 2010-11 to select students of the college. Given below are the list of companies/organizations that visited the college during this period.

The Cell gives considerable importance for its students achieving high ranks in competitive examinations such as GATE. Many students of the final year have qualified GATE 2011.
