The first and the most important outcome of NCSEE '14 is the motivation attained due to Dr. E. Sreedharan's speech on "Ethics and Values in Engineering Practices". The teaching as well as the student community was really moved by his enchanting speech. The factors mentioned by him - punctuality, integrity etc., are surely to be brought into practice in all fields of Engineering - both profession & Education.
Secondly, the research community in the national level got an opportunity to visit GCE Kannur and share their valuable research findings with other delegates and faculty. Consequently, the PG students of our institution also got benefited by getting an opportunity to present their research paper in a national forum. The faculty members of our institution also got an opportunity to interact with all the dignitaries and delegates and share the knowledge.
In the paper presentation program TEXPOSURE 2014, all the theses of the passing out PG students were showcased as posters and everybody associated with NCSEE could watch the research activities that are being carried out at GCE Kannur, for the last two years. The PG & UG students, Technical staff, Ministerial staff and the Faculty members were really inspired by NCSEE '14 and TEXPOSURE '14. Such academic activities will surely cultivate professionalism and increase the ranking of our institution.
