Venue : Seminar Hall of ECE Department

Beneficiaries : Second and fourth semester M. Tech. students of Signal Processing & Embedded Systems (ECE Dept.)

Coordinator : Dr. A. Ranjith Ram, Assistant Professor, ECE Department

This program was conducted with an objective of providing expert lectures on Wavelet Theory for the PG students of ECE Department. The second semester M. Tech. students attended the session just for gathering knowledge, however, the fourth semester M. Tech students used it effectively as an intense training session for preparing for the forthcoming University Examination. • Short Time Fourier Transform (STFT)
• Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT)
• Examples of Wavelets
• Multi-resolution Analysis (MRA)

The second day started with Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). Different sections dealt with on 17th February include:

• Examples of DWT
• Construction of Wavelets
• Examples of Wavelets
