Dr. B. Nageswara Rao


Professor, IIT Madras

He is a Professor of the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Madras. He graduated in Civil Engineering from The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and received his M.E. (Civil Engineering) from The Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda and Ph.D (Structures, Mechanics & Materials) from The University of Iowa, USA. He has more than 20 years of experience in teaching and research. His research interest includes developing new computational techniques in the areas of solid mechanics, FEM, structural reliability, optimization, fracture analysis, etc. He has guided 6 Ph.D thesis and 19 MTech thesis; has authored 5 books/monographs, 5 book chapters; and published 237 papers in various journals and conferences.

Prof. N. Ganesan


Former Professor (HAG) & Dean (Rtd), NIT Calicut

Prof. N. Ganesan worked as Professor of the Department of Civil Engineering and formerly as the Dean (Planning & Development) at NIT Calicut. He graduated in Civil Engineering from Madurai University and received his M.E and Ph.D degree in Structural Engineering from the IISC, Bangalore, India. He has 40 years of experience in teaching and research. His research interest includes Concrete, Forensic engineering and Rehabilitation of RCC Structures. He is a Fellow of The Institution of Engineers, India and Consultant of International Ferro-cement Information Centre, Bangkok. He has guided 100 M.Tech theses and 25 Ph.D theses and has published more than 170 papers in various journals and conferences. He is a reviewer of many National and International Journals. He received the ICI-Ultratech Award for Outstanding Concrete Engineer of Kerala in the year 2014.

Dr. Anil Joseph


Director, Geostructurals (P) Ltd; Managing Director, CECONS (P) Ltd

Dr. Anil Joseph is the Director of Geostructurals (P) Ltd., Managing Director of CECONS (P) Ltd, and Director of Engineers Diagnostic Centre (P) Ltd, all based in Kochi. He is specialized in Geotechnical and Structural consultancy works. He has done his graduation and post graduation in Civil Engineering from NIT Surat. He was awarded Ph.D from NIT Calicut, for his work on “Precompression of Soft Marine Clays”. He has provided foundation and structural consultancy for more than 2000 high rise structures in India and abroad in the last 28 years. His design has won the ICI- UltraTech Award for Outstanding Concrete structure of Kerala in the year 2012, 2017 & 2018 for various projects at Cochin. He is a National Executive Committee member of the Indian Geotechnical Society, member of State Committee in Institution of Engineers Civil Division and Vice chairman of Indian Concrete Institute, Kochi Chapter.

Dr. Anilkumar P M


He is a Prime Minister Research Fellowship holder.He has completed his Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from NIT Calicut in the year 2015.Later he has pursued Master degree in Structural Engineering from IIT Madras in the year 2018.Research area includes composite materials and structures, smart materials, buckling and nonlinear vibration analysis of structures.

Prof. C. Sujatha


Professor, IIT Madras.

Prof. C. Sujatha is a Professor in the Machine Design Section, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Madras. She did B.Sc. (Engineering) from Kerala University; did her post- graduation in Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics from IIT Madras. She has more than 35 years of experience in teaching, research and industrial consultancy in the areas of machine dynamics, vehicular vibration, acoustics, instrumentation and signal analysis, condition monitoring, etc.. She has more than 190 publications in various international and national journals and conferences. She has published a book entitled “Vibration and Acoustics: Measurements and Signal Analysis”. She also has two monographs to her credit. She has guided 38 Ph.D. and M.S. (by Research) scholars and more than 125 M.Tech. and B.Tech. students. She has coordinated a large number of industrial consultancy projects for more than 250 industries in India. She has been associated in an advisory capacity with prestigious national R&D and defence organizations.

Prof. A. Ramesh


Professor, IIT Madras.

Prof. A. Ramesh received his B.E (Mechanical Engineering) degree from Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi in 1983 and subsequently his M.Tech and Ph.D (Internal Combustion Engines) degrees from IIT Madras. He did his post-doctoral research work in Ecole National Superior De Nantes (EMN), France. He worked for one year in the engine R & D group in BEML as Assistant Manager and then worked as Assistant Professor in IIT Delhi before joining IIT Madras in December 1995. His research interests include engine combustion and emission control, GDI engines, HCCI engines, hybrid electric drives, engine instrumentation and control and innovative engine technologies. He has guided several students for their Ph.D and Masters degrees. He has published more than 175 research papers in Journals and Conferences. He works on several projects jointly with Automotive Industries and for government agencies as well. He has many patents. He has also completed several projects. He has served as the Chairman of the Center for Continuing Education at IIT Madras. He has served on committees in DST, MNRE, CSIR, TIFAC, DRDO, AICTE, NITs and IITs.

Assistant Professor, NIT Karnataka

Prof. Kalpana. R is working as Assistant Professor at Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, NIT Karnataka. She received B.E degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Madras University, Tamilnadu; M.E. degree from Anna University, Tamilnadu and Ph.D degree from IIT Delhi.. She has been a senior IEEE Member since 2018. She has publications in more than 20 IEEE Journals and 50 National/International Conferences and filed 3 Indian patents. Her fields of interest are Improved power quality converters, Renewable energy systems and Battery management systems for EV.

Dr. Sunitha K


Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Calicut

Dr. Sunitha K is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Calicut. She received B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from Calicut University in 2000, and M.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, in 2005. Her Ph.D. degree is in high-power electromagnetics area from the EMC and Pulsed Power Laboratory, Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India in 2014. She joined in the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, Kerala, India in 2001 and has almost has 20 years of experience in the Teaching/researchfield.
She has nearly 30 publications in various International journals including IEEE, IET and about 30 conference publications. She has reviewed journals in IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation, IEEE Power Delivery and several other journals. Her areas of research interest are EMC and computational electromagnetics applied to high-power electromagnetics, Applications of EMC in Biomedical Applications and Power systems.

Prof. Shajeemohan. B. S


Associate Professor, GEC Kozhikode.

Prof. Shajeemohan. B. S is Associate Professor in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering Department, GEC Kozhikode. He has done B­.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram; M.Tech from Visweswaraiah Technological University and Ph. D. from IIT Madras. He has been working in various premier engineering institutions in Kerala since 1991. He was the H.O.D., AE&I dept., GEC Kozhikode. He is the Chairman BoE for the M.Tech programmes in Signal Processing and Digital Signal Processing, Calicut university. He has presented several research papers in National and International conferences in India and abroad. He won best paper presentation awards in ADCOM 2006 NIT Surathkal and International conference ICISIP 2014 held in the Nishinippon Institute of Technology, Fukuoka, Japan. He is a life member of ISTE. His research interests are in Machine learning, Kernel methods, Distance Metric Learning, Speech Processing, Data Compression Algorithms.

Prof. Vivek Balachandran is currently an Asst. Professor with Singapore Institute of Technology and the Deputy CEO of Verbosecurity Pte. Ltd. He has been in the field of cybersecurity for over 9 years and in the field of computer science for over 15 years. He completed his Ph.D in Software Security from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and worked as a Research Scientist with the Agency of Science, Technology and Research before his current position. As an academic, he teaches cyber security and computer science courses to students as well as involve in various research projects. Some of the industry projects that he is involved with currently are Software Obfuscation, Android Malware Detection, Drone Security, AI enabled cyber-crime detection, Application Security, Compiler Optimization, Security Analytics, etc.
